The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 16 is named after Mount Kisco, NY native Frank H. Fox.
Frank was born on October 13, 1902 in New York City to Thomas and Jane Loftus-Fox and moved to Mount Kisco at an early age.
Frank married Catherine Oates, a native of County Mayo, Ireland, on October 8, 1921, raising their children - Catherine Stevens, Mary Alpi, J. Thomas Fox, and Margaret Reilly in Mount Kisco, NY.
Frank was a Past President and active member of Divison 16 for over fifty years. Frank served the A.O.H. as Westchester County President and as a Deputy National Organizer for the National Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Frank was a owner of Fox and Finch Automotive Repair in Mount Kisco, NY for many years and was affectionately known as “Tinker”.
Frank also was a member of Mount Kisco Fire Department, Mutual Fire Company for fifty five years, the Elks Club for fifty years, and the Knights of Columbus for fifty years.
Frank joined the Mount Kisco Fire Department, Mutual Engine Company on May 3, 1925. Frank served as Captain of the Mutual Company from 1929-1931, and as Chief in early 1930’s.
Frank was a active member of the Rummies Racing Team. In the early 1900’s the Westchester County Volunteer Fireman’s Association held yearly atheletic competitions between area Fire Departments. The games consisted of F.D. teams performing pump drafting, dragging dummies, dragging hose, setting up ladders, racing up and down ladders, and Tug of War. The Rummies were the 1929 Tug of War Champions and 1936 Champions at these competitions.

On March 7, 1975 Frank became the first member to reach fifty years of service. Frank passed away on February 7, 1980.
The members of Division 16 are deeply honored that our Division was named after Frank H. Fox in 1981, so that his lifetime of community service is remembered and serves as an example for all people of goodwill. The Ancient Order of Hibernians are eternally grateful for the many years of service Frank provided.
